Business
The principal activity of the Company is general trading
and interior renovation works. Its core activities are in trading of
office equipment, furniture, stationery and others. The business has
relocated to a permanent site in the Sejingkat Industrial Park, Demak
Laut, Kuching. The capital investment at present for the new site has
amounted to approximately RM 1 million. The present customers range
from the federal, state and statutory bodies and the private organizations
in which 60% of its turnover is derived from private organizations.
Background
The business started its operation in 1992 in the form
of a sole proprietorship in the trading of office equipment, furniture,
stationery and others. It was incorporated as a private limited company
on the 16th of July 1996. Currently, the paid up capital amounts to
RM 400,000 with an average annual turnover of approximately RM 2.5 million.
At the start of the business, it had only 3 employees and currently,
there are 14 employees who had been with the company through thick and
thin. The company continued to institute various measures since the
economic downturn of 1997, which included a sharper focus on profitability,
cost control, and prudent cash management. Pulled by this troika, the
company has been resilient through hardy times.
